- 1x Trafficking of a Class 2 Weapon being weapons found on him when the warrant was executed.

On Monday, December 4, 2023 the court approved and signed a Parole Agreement for Mr. Platt. His bail was set at $40,000.
 
Perfect - let's begin scheduling then as well as Discovery. @NiaLiviaus I believe you are the Defendant's counsel on this case, correct? If so - could you please gather the Defendant's availability for trial as well as your own and provide that to me as soon as possible. Same for you @Eyrii with any officers/witnesses you need at trial.

We'll also open up Discovery - let's begin entering any evidence/statements you wish to use in trial here as well as a comprehensive witness list on both sides.
 
@NiaLiviaus @Eyrii Any updates on availability for this case? I'm aware that this Defendant is out on parole, so I want to make sure we get this sorted for him sooner rather than later.
 
@NiaLiviaus @Eyrii I will be returning from LOA the week of the 15th. Please gather availability for your respective sides so that we can get this scheduled as soon as possible. Thank you!
 
@NiaLiviaus @Eyrii I have not received availability for this yet. Might I remind you both that Mr. Platt is being held until trial, and as such we need to expedite this as quickly as possible.
 
I will not be around at those times because of liberty. I will be around possibly around 6-7PM EST on Sunday.
 
Alright - thank you both for being flexible and taking the time to schedule this very important matter. We will schedule this case for Sunday, January 28, 2024 at 6:00 pm EST at the Courthouse across from Garage A.

The Discovery period will begin now, and will close on Saturday, January 27th at 6:00 pm EST. Prior to that date and time, I expect all Discovery materials to be posted to the docket, including, but not limited to, witness lists, physical evidence, sworn affidavits, etc. Failure to enter these materials before the cutoff could result in them being inadmissible in court. Pleas take the time to review all materials from each side submitted during Discovery prior to the scheduled court date/time. If there are errors, and are uncontested prior to our day in court, they may still be admitted into evidence.

@NiaLiviaus @Eyrii I'm not sure whose responsibility it is (it could even be mine) but we'll need to notify DOC of this date/time so that they're aware. Additionally, we'll likely need to notify relevant members of PD for security and bailiff purposes.
