I. Statement of Claim
On the 8th of October 2023, the plaintiff, Roland Montgomery, brings forth this civil suit against Police Officer James Goff Jr., alleging unlawful conduct and violation of his rights. The events leading to this claim transpired as follows:

1. On the aforementioned date, Roland Montgomery was lawfully standing alongside a fence on the road he resides in, namely Ace Jones Drive / Richman.

2. Officer James Goff Jr., while operating a police vehicle, approached Roland Montgomery's location traveling eastbound on Ace Jones Drive. In the course of his approach, Officer Goff recklessly struck Roland Montgomery.

3. Immediately following the incident, Roland Montgomery, in an effort to identify the officer involved, requested Officer James Goff Jr.'s badge number. In response, Officer Goff initially refused and directed derogatory language towards Roland, referring to him as a "scumbag piece of shit."

4. After some delay, Officer Goff reluctantly displayed his identification. Subsequently, Roland Montgomery requested that Officer Goff call a supervisor to address the situation. Officer Goff had then radioed to a supervisor, Curtis Roscoe responded. Officer Goff, under the urgency of a robbery incident, left the scene. As he departed, he further engaged in unprofessional conduct, loudly disparaging Roland Montgomery as a "fucking cry baby pussy."

5. Roland Montgomery, in light of the altercation and fearing future repercussions, implored Officer Goff to refrain from entering his property. Additionally, Roland observed Officer Goff taking photographs of the college campus, raising concerns of potential trespassing.

6. Officer Goff, in response, disregarded Roland's request, and further, he threatened to contact Roland's Realtor in an apparent attempt to gain knowledge of Roland's property boundaries, thereby intruding upon Roland's privacy without permission or lawful justification.

7. Roland Montgomery contends that Officer James Goff Jr. engaged in trespassing on his property, taking photographs of individuals on the road below without permission, and initiating the entire sequence of events through his reckless and unlawful actions.
